Main Menu Changes

There have been some minor changes to the main menu.  Obsolete or un-used menu items have been removed.  Additionally, a link to the AE Hours Tracking application and a link to the Meridian BizDev have both been added.  Please note, the Meridian BizDev requires a different log-in then this site.  If you have difficulty with the BizDev site, please contact Mark Sanderson.  Should you experience difficulty with this site (“bizdev”) please contact myself ( Mike Fleischauer ).

New Notification Features

In addition to setting notification (being sent an email when an item is update) per quote #, you can now set on notification, that will automatically be sent to you whenever any item that is on the reports is updated. To do so, off the main menu, go to "Change User Info" off the main menu. Then check the box labelled "Notify Toogle", and press Update. You will now start receiving email notifications. To turn this feature back off, merely remove the check box from the "Notify Toogle" option, and press update again, and you will no longer receive notifications.

Complete Site Reworking

Extensive changes have been made to the Business Development Site. A number of smaller, probrably unseeable changes have been made, plus the following:

·  Complete rewrite of the Update Page. The layout has been completely reworked, and this is now the hub to do all other bizdev functions (requote, update status, etc...). Additionally, the ability to attach links to customer correspondence has now been added. A few of the options are placeholders, for soon to be implemented features, such as the QAF.

·  Addition of new regions. Asia-Pacific, and South America have now been added to the business development site. They function identically to the North American and European sections.

Did You Know?

If you want to monitor the status of a given Quote#, from the Update screen click the Notify button so that it says Notify is On. When Notification is set to on, everytime someone changes that item, you will instantly receive an email, telling you that the item was updated, by whom, and when. It will also contain a link, that if you click, will bring you to the website, and automatically bring that item up in the update screen so you can see what was changed. Clicking the Notify is On button again, will set it to off.
